Over the past few years, Michelson IP has been pleased to have a dynamic and impactful partner in NACCE – the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship! Since 2017, we’ve worked with NACCE to expand intellectual property curricula across their nationwide network of community colleges.

In our original community college pilot program, NACCE served as the Technical Assistance and Implementation Lead, collecting data points, administering satisfaction surveys, and helping to lead a community of practice among participating faculty. We’ve also worked closely with Santa Monica College (our lead institution for the pilot) to develop a plug-and-play LMS course shell. Today, we’re excited to see the adoption of Michelson IP curricula at more than 70 NACCE member schools nationwide. We’ve been grateful to be a part of NACCE’s innovative community, and look forward to their continued thought partnership. For more about our collaboration, please check out our program case study – “Partner, Plug-in, Pioneer: Success in IP Education through Community College Partnership”:

The Michelson Institute for Intellectual Property, an initiative of the Michelson 20MM Foundation, addresses critical gaps in intellectual property education to empower the next generation of inventors. Michelson 20MM was founded thanks to the generous support of renowned spinal surgeon Dr. Gary K. Michelson and Alya Michelson. To learn more, visit 20mm.org.
