Michelson IP recently attended the third annual Intellectual Property Awareness Summit at UC Berkeley! We had the pleasure of being invited by the Center for Intellectual Property Understanding, the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, and the Tusher Initiative for the Management of Intellectual Capital.

Dr. Michelson kicked off the event with a keynote on the imperative for teaching intellectual property to students today, particularly the importance of embedding this knowledge at the undergraduate level, as well as to younger students on the pathway to innovation. The summit featured dynamic speakers engaging in thoughtful discussions of domestic and global challenges to IP understanding.

Thank you again to UC Berkeley for their hospitality and opportune programming. As we continue to engage with partners around our mission of closing the IP education gap, these knowledge-sharing events remain necessary to build community and amplify IP education and awareness.
