Empowering IP Educators: Effective Recruitment for the Educators in Residence 2.0 Program

Join us for an in-depth overview of the Educator in Residence (EIR) 2.0 program. The discussion will emphasize best practices for community college professors and administrators to streamline the application. The session will highlight:

  • Program Goals and Available Support: Gain a comprehensive understanding for the EIR 2.0 program’s objectives, the support available to applicants, and the opportunity to receive a grant up to $5K per participant to enhance courses in IP education.
  • Streamlined Recruitment Process: Learn how to effectively manage the application process and how we will select the ideal candidates for the ERI 2.0 program.
  • Cohort Onboarding: Best practices for supporting educators through the transition from selection to the active program phase.
  • Internal Collaboration: Tips for working collaboratively with other cohort members to enhance and improve implementation of IP education in the classroom.

The EIR 2.0 program, launched by Michelson IP in collaboration with the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE), builds on a successful history of empowering educators to integrate IP education into community college curricula. Since 2017, this initiative has impacted over 80 NACCE member colleges nationwide, enriching student’s understanding of IP in practical, real-world contexts.

Learn how the EIR 2.0 program is shaping the future of IP education in community colleges and become a part of this transformative movement!

Speakers include:
